We run a vibrant and welcoming junior section here at Peterborough Milton with players ranging from 4 to 17 years old and from beginners to County players.
Our professional team run very well attended Saturday afternoon group coaching sessions from March to October for beginners through to our more experienced juniors and our professionals Adam and Sam always make these a fun learning environment. Young golfers can join our Academy which gives the benefit of usage of all our extensive practice and clubhouse facilities (parents and family members very welcome) - and Tuesday evening games are held on our academy course throughout the Spring and Summer, getting players ready for Junior Membership.
We run a comprehensive programme of junior events year round designed to cater for all abilities. The club run a Golf Sixes Team for younger players and play junior matches in County Leagues, Cups and National events. We have had success winning the Northamptonshire County League, Cambridgeshire Cup, England BCCS Championship and UK Home Nations Junior Team Golf titles over recent years. At an individual level we are very proud that recent Junior section graduate and Club Ambassador Robin Williams has represented the club at national and Junior Ryder Cup level and has already achieved three professional tournament wins in his young career. Robin can be seen below giving his time and expertise to the PMGC Junior Academy on a recent visit.
Our Junior Organising team and professionals have many years experience of working with children and the club has England Golf Safegolf accreditation to assure you that Peterborough Milton is a safe environment for young people. The PMGC Club Welfare Officer is Sandra Stout . Here at Peterborough Milton GC we recognise the welfare of children is paramount and we have a duty of care when children are in our charge.
